Bruno Mars will release his new single 24k Magic this Friday

The Hawaiian hitmaker will make his highly anticipated return to music this week.

Bruno Mars is releasing his brand new single this coming Friday (October 7).

24k Magic - pronounced twenty-four karat magic - will serve as the lead single to the Hawaiian hitmaker's upcoming third studio album, which is currently untitled. His previous collections both hit Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, with Doo Wops & Hooligans achieving the feat in 2010, followed by 2012's Unorthodox Jukebox.

Taking to Instagram, Bruno described the track as his "invitation to the party", in the final of nine collage images posted to his account this morning:

While we have waited four years for our first full-length record from Bruno, he guested on Mark Ronson's 2014 smash Uptown Funk that topped the Official Singles Chart for seven non-consecutive weeks and became the biggest song of 2015.
