Bruce Springsteen’s new album, High Hopes, is outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined on today’s Official Albums Chart Update.
Bruce ‘The Boss’ Springsteen is looking set to knock Ellie Goulding’s Halcyon off the top of the Official Albums Chart on Sunday with new album High Hopes.
Following hot on the heels of last March’s Wrecking Ball, The Boss’s latest album is outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined on today’s Official Chart Update.
High Hopes, which sees Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello join his regular backing group the E Street Band, is on track to become Springsteen’s tenth UK chart-topper come Sunday’s final bell.
Reigning chart queen Ellie Goulding falls one place to Number 2 today, while Beyonce’s self-titled album is at Number 3. This week’s Top 5 is completed by Bastille’s Bad Blood (up one place to Number 4), and John Newman’s Tribute (5).
