Britney Spears returns on new will.i.am song Mind Your Business

Britney Spears's first new music in almost a year will be released this Friday (July 21), as she contributes guest vocals to brand-new will.i.am single Mind Your Business.

Announced earlier this week, Mind Your Business will actually be the second time Brit & The Black Eyed Peas founder have collaborated on a single, the first of course being 2011 Femme Fatale album cut Big Fat Bass, followed by the pair's smash 2013 hit Scream & Shout, which still ranks as Britney's most recent chart-topper in the UK.

Scream & Shout aside, will and Brit boast a long working history together, so it makes sense that they would join forces again almost ten years later. will.i.am was the executive producer of Britney's 'most personal work yet,' her 2013 self-titled album Britney Jean, which included the singles Work B*tch (banger) and Perfume.

will.i.am announced the release of the song on July 17, and has since previewed an extended teaser of the track.

This all comes, of course, after the internet-breaking news that Britney will be releasing her memoir, The Woman In Me, later this year. 

Described as a "brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope," The Woman In Me will see Britney writing for the first time about overturning her 13-year conservatorship, which galvanised Britney stans and members of the general public to Free Britney.
