Britney Spears' Official Top 20 biggest non-singles - the fan favourite album tracks that deserve more love

The fan favourite album tracks that deserve more love, based on sales and streams.

Next year will be 20 years since Britney Spears topped charts across the world with her debut single ...Baby One More Time.

Since then, her hit rate has been brilliantly - some might say iconically - consistent, notching up 30 Top 40 hits on the Official Chart (six of which reached Number 1) with the likes of Toxic, Gimme More, Lucky and Scream & Shout. It's HITney, bitch!

At this point, pop fans should know her greatest hits inside out but how familiar are you with her deep cuts?

As Britney announces her brand-new Las Vegas residency Domination, which kicks off in February 2019 and is bound to feature huge hits and a few surprises, we've delved deep to uncover her Top 20 most popular non-singles, based on sales and streams. Hey Britney fans, are you ready?

18. (I Got That) Boom Boom

"We gonna go to the club and get crunk with Britney, HEY!" The Ying Yang Twins bellow on the intro of this track from 2003's In The Zone. It may we one of the most Noughties sentences ever uttered, but the song itself - a feisty, crunk (yes, we know)-meets-pop number - holds up remarkably well 15 years on. In fact, it was once in the running to be the album's second single before Toxic won the toss. Boom Boom ranks 18th on her Top 20 non-singles, with just over 350,000 streams since 2014. Watch a killer performance of it on TRL below.

Take a look at Britney's biggest singles and albums on the Official Chart

17. Tom's Diner

In 2016 Britney took on Suzanne Vega's '80s classic Tom's Diner, helmed by legendary producer Giorgio Moroder for his first album in 23 years, Deja Vu. He said Britney came to him with the idea for the song, which he gave a dreamy disco makeover, while Spears evokes Vega's deadpan vocal delivery - something the singer herself said she was a fan of. The track appears at Number 17 on her most popular deep cuts with just under half a million streams.

13. Cinderella

A fan favourite from her 2001 Britney album, Cinderella is one of four tracks on the record produced by her longtime collaborator Max Martin (...Baby One More Time, Overprotected) and tells the story of a girl (not yet a woman) running away from a man who doesn't appreciate her. The best bit? The spoken-word section on which she proclaims: "My life, it can't be sacrificed - I won't return to thee..."

11. Chris Cox Megamix

A mix of Britney's biggest hits up to 2004 was put together for her Greatest Hits: My Prerogative album by US house producer Chris Cox, and it serves as a nifty whistle stop tour of the first five years of her catalogue. The final 30 seconds accompanied by the video are particularly brilliant X Factor-style montage of some of her iconic moments.

6. Breathe On Me

This 2003 In The Zone cut has enjoyed a resurgence in recent years after she added it to her Vegas show and performed it at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, and as such places sixth on her deep cuts chart. The track remains one of her most overtly sexual, offering up Janet Jackson-style moaning and whispers (“Boy, don’t stop ’cause I’m halfway there…”) over a pulsating beat.

1. My Only Wish (This Year)

Yep, Britney's biggest non-single is a Christmas track. My Only Wish (This Year) appears on a compilation album called Platinum Christmas, which was released in 2000 and also features festive cuts from Whitney Houtson, Steps, S Club 7, Dido and TLC (what a time to be alive!). The track, which Britney co-wrote with Britney/In The Zone collaborator Brian Kierulf, benefits greatly from the annual boost of festive songs on streaming services each Christmas, notching up 5.6 million plays since 2014. Like most Christmas songs, it sounds like it was written in under ten minutes, but its so ridiculously cute that it's hard not to love.

I'm so glad Cinderella is on there. This is my all time favorite song and I will always be bummed she never regonized it, not with a music video, not with a songle release, not even with a live performance once in her career! Oh well, maybe one dayd...

The tracks that I love and I think they truly deserved to be there

6 BREATHE ON ME BRITNEY SPEARS 2003
best thing on the "In The Zone" album

9 CLUMSY BRITNEY SPEARS 2016
good track from her last album

10 OUT FROM UNDER BRITNEY SPEARS 2008
her most loveliest ballad. Even Madonna said she liked it. Or was it Kylie ?

12 SHATTERED GLASS BRITNEY SPEARS 2008
short song but quite good too, from the album "Circus"

13 CINDERELLA BRITNEY SPEARS 2001
best song of the album "Britney"

14 KILL THE LIGHTS BRITNEY SPEARS 2008
a good moment from "Blackout"

19 UNUSUAL YOU BRITNEY SPEARS 2008
good song from the album "Circus" too.

But some songs are really awful. Like "Get Naked I Got A Plan" for instance.
I can't believe it's one of the most downloaded songs from Britney.
It's probably because of its provocative title but certainly not thanks to its overall quality.
