British-Irish band New Rules announce the release of debut major label mixtape Go The Distance
Alec, Nathan and Ryan are reading to Go The Distance (sorry) with 7 brand spanking new tracks.
British-Irish trio New Rules have announced the release of their first major-label mixtape, Go The Distance.
Due to be released June 3 via Elektra/Parlophone, the exciting announcement was first announced in a very special and exclusive livestream for the band's fans.
Go The Distance will be comprised of seven new tracks from Ryan, Nathan and Alec, including the mixtape's self-titled launch single - a stylish melding of guitar-led alt-rock and a more hard-edged synth-pop sound reminiscent of Dua Lipa and the Drive soundtrack.
New Rules are comprised of Nathan Lambert, Alec McGarry and Ryan Meaney (who hail from Chelmsford, Hertfordshire and Ireland respectively). Originally connecting over Instagram DMs, where else, the group have been hard at work for the last few years establishing themselves with a fast-growing grassroots fandom.

Since signing with Elektra in the US and Parlophone in the UK, New Rules are well on the way to Go The Distance (sorry) on their pre-determined path to supremacy.
Talking to the boys earlier this year about the launch of Go The Distance (the single), they told us all about collaborating with producer Sir Nolan (Selena Gomez and Carly Rae Jepsen) and Circa Waves member Kieran Shudall.
"When we wrote it," Ryan said, "I think we all knew we were going to release it, we just had to gear up towards it.'
