Britain’s Got Talent’s Richard And Adam set for third week on top
Richard And Adam headed for a third week at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart.
Britain’s Got Talent stars Richard And Adam look set to spend a third week at the top of the Official Albums Chart with The Impossible Dream.
The brothers from Holywell, North Wales, knocked X Factor runner-up Jahmene Douglas’ debut album, Love Never Fails (down seven to Number 12 today) off Number 1 earlier this month, and have fought off tough competition from Adele faves The Civil Wars (down six to Number 8) to hold onto their chart crown.
Post-punk trio White Lies are on course for this week’s highest new entry, debuting at Number 2 on today’s Official Albums Chart Update with their third studio album, Big TV. Rudimental’s Home climbs four places to Number 3, while Imagine Dragons’ Night Visions (4) and Passenger’s All The Little Lights (5) complete today’s Top 5.
New Entries and High Climbers
Glen Campbell looks set to enter Sunday’s Official Albums Chart at Number 36 with his new full-length, See You There. The veteran US country star has released more than 60 studio albums throughout his career, but it will only be his eighth to break into the UK Top 40.
Meanwhile, Kodaline are this week’s highest climbers. The Irish band’s debut album, In A Perfect World, surges 20 places to Number 20 today. US rockers Paramore climb 19 places to Number 40 with their self-titled album, and Ed Sheeran’s + climbs 10 to 37.
