BRIT Awards 2019: The winners in full
The complete list of winners from this year's BRIT Awards.
Calvin Harris and The 1975 were the big winners at the 2019 BRIT Awards, each taking home two prizes at this year's ceremony.
Calvin, who has previously been nominated 14 times with no wins, picked up British Producer and British Single with One Kiss with Dua Lipa - 2018's biggest single in the UK. The Scot performed a trio of his recent hits at the event: One Kiss, fellow chart-topper Promises with Sam Smith and current single Giant with Rag'n'Bone Man.
The 1975 won the coveted Album of the Year award for their Number 1 album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, and picked up the British Group prize for a second time.
Beyonce and Jay-Z, who won Best International Group as The Carters, also made headlines with an assertive statement on Meghan Markle. The couple's video acceptance speech saw them standing in front of a portrait of Meghan styled as Queen Victoria.
Elsewhere, Scotland born, Manchester raised singer-songwriter Tom Walker won the British Breakthrough and Little Mix won the fan-voted award for Video of the Year for Woman Like Me, while Anne-Marie went home empty handed despite racking up the joint highest number of nominations on four with Dua Lipa.

Honestly, 2018 was a very disappointing year for music and therefore no surprise that the Brits are so underwhelming. Can't really see 2019 being much better either.

Well fans I'll start.I don't bother with the BOOOOORRRRITTS anymore as that's what we as a nation of good little boys and girls have become in the music industry with send me to sleep speeches. I already and predictably knew who would win..but The Carters??? Jorja Smith ? Arctic Monkeys had the right idea staying away. Just a pile of pants overall and never will be a patch on the superior Grammys..apart from Hugh Beckman. at the beginning and Pink at the end. Right follow that.
