BRIT Awards 2019: Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne and Dua Lipa lead this year's nominations
This year's BRIT Awards will be broadcast live from London's O2 Arena on February 20.
The nominees for the 2019 BRIT Awards have been revealed, with Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne and Dua Lipa leading the way.
Anne-Marie received four nominations across four different categories: British Female Solo Artist, British Single, British Artist Video of the Year and Mastercard British Album Of The Year.
Jess Glynne was also recognised four times, across three categories including British Female Solo Artist, British Single for I'll Be There and her Rudimental collaboration These Days, and British Artist Video, also for These Days. Dua Lipa concludes the females with four nods, appearing twice in both the British Single and British Artist Video categories for One Kiss with Calvin Harris, and IDGAF.

George Ezra and Jorja Smith are each in contention for three trophies, while The 1975, Florence + The Machine, Calvin Harris, Little Mix, Rita Ora, Tom Walker and Clean Bandit in the running for two gongs apiece.
Joining Anne-Marie's Speak Your Mind, George Ezra's Staying at Tamara's and Jorja Smith's Lost & Found in the British Album field are The 1975 with A Brief Enquiry Into Online Relationships and Florence + The Machine's High As Hope. All four of Florence's albums have now been nominated for Mastercard British Album Of The Year.
In the international categories, Drake takes on Eminem, Kamasi Washington, Shawn Mendes and Travis Scott for International Male, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Christine & The Queens and Janelle Monáe are in the running for International Female, and The Carters (Beyoncé and Jay Z) face competition from Brockhampton, First Aid Kit, Nile Rodgers & Chic and Twenty One Pilots in the International Group category.

Not really bothered. I no longer watch it as most of it's dull and safe from what it once was. All I care about is the shock moments or moment that wasn't meant to happen to steal the show.Might even be the year where Lord Simon of Cowell finally leaves empty handed again after 7 years of 1D or 1D solo in video or single awards.
