BRIT Awards 2016: The winners in full
Adele dominates, while Coldplay, Justin Bieber and One Direction also triumph.
Adele was once again the queen of The BRIT Awards last night.
You could be mistaken for thinking that 25 is the number of BRITs Adele has in her trophy cabinet, but it is in fact the name of her Album of the Year; one of four prizes she took home from this year's ceremony.
Adele’s third studio collection helped her take home three further awards from last night's bash, which took place at London's O2 Arena. The star saw off competition from the likes of Amy Winehouse and Laura Marling to win in the British Female Solo Artist, British Single of the Year and Brits Global Success.

Adele also closed the show with a mesmerising performance of latest single When We Were Young. Others who took to the stage included Coldplay, who gave a rendition of their Beyonce collaboration Hymn For The Weekend, while Rihanna and Drake performed their current single Work.
International Male Solo Artist winner Justin Bieber and British Male Solo Artist James Bay took to the stage together for a rendition of Love Yourself before Justin went solo for a fiery take on Sorry, whilst James brought the house down with Hold Back The River.
Meanwhile, Lorde made a special appearance in memory of the legendary David Bowie, who passed away last month. The New Zealander sang Life On Mars as part of the memorial segment that saw Annie Lennox present Bowie’s BRITs Icon award to his close friend, actor Gary Oldman.
