Panic over for U2 fans – the band's eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour is back on and definitely heading for the 3 Arena in Dublin this November.

There were concerns shows might be cancelled after Bono experienced a sudden vocal issue at a Berlin performance over the weekend. U2 were playing the city's Mercedes-Benz Arena, on the second night of the European leg of the tour, when Bono's voice got into difficulty during the fourth song of the set, Red Flag Day.

After saying he needed to take a short break to see what was happening, the singer didn't return to the stage and fans were told the show was cancelled and that the band would return to do another date at the arena.

Luckily for anxious fans with tickets for their sellout four-night run at the 3 Arena in Dublin this November, it was a temporary hitch, and Bono's back on form.

In a statement on the band's official website, Bono said he was relieved it was good news but sad for disappointed fans that night in Berlin: "I've seen a great doctor and with his care I’ll be back to full voice for the rest of the tour. So happy and relieved that anything serious has been ruled out. My relief is tempered by the knowledge that the Berlin audience were so inconvenienced. There was an amazing atmosphere in the house, it was going to be one of those unforgettable nights but not for this reason… We can’t wait to get back there on November 13th."

Bono added a personalized handwritten note thanking fans who'd sang along with him as his voice faltered. "PS to the ones who sang Red Flag Day for me last night thanks there are some high notes in that one… as always  "you take us higher"

U2's eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour takes in Cologne, Paris, Lisbon, Madrid, Manchester, London, and Belfast before coming home to Dublin, playing Monday 5, Tuesday 6, Friday 9 and Saturday 10 November.
