Attention BLINKS!  K-pop queens BLACKPINK are coming back in a big way in 2025.

As Koreaboo reports, a statement from the group's record label YG Entertainment promises a "full-group comeback" including a world tour in 2025. So, the prospect of having "BLACKPINK in your area" again isn't too far off.

The news was shared in a post celebrating the fact that BLACKPINK’s How You Like That music video has now amassed 1.7 billion views. The song itself peaked at Number 20 on the Official Singles Chart – one of the group's eight Top 40s to date.

YG Entertainment's post doesn't specifically mention new music, but the phrase "full-group comeback" certainly suggests they'll be booking studio time together. BLACKPINK haven't released new music since their 2022 album BORN PINK, which saw them make history as the first-ever K-pop girl group to score a Number 1 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart.

They previously peaked at Number 2 on the Official Albums Chart with 2020's The Album and at Number 40 with 2019's Kill This Love.

BLACKPINK's four members – JISOOJENNIEROSÉ and LISA.– have spent most of 2024 focusing on individual endeavours in acting, fashion and music,

In April, LISA became the group member to sign a solo deal when she joined Sony's RCA Records. She has since released two solo singles: Rockstar, which peaked at Number 49 on the Official Singles Chart in July, and New Woman with Rosalia, which peaked at Number 55 in August.

Bring on the reunion!
