Bjork announces new single The Gate will be released later this month
One of the most enthralling names names in music Bjork has announced details of her new single.
The Icelandic star has shared the name of her new song The Gate, plus the single's artwork to her social media accounts. The Gate will be available digitally on September 18, while a single-sided 12" vinyl version will available the following Friday (September 25).
The Gate is now available to pre-order, alongside the enigmatic performer's landmark 10th studio album. Bjork previously told fans of the record: "I am so excited to share with you that my new album is coming out very soon. Warmthness, bjork."

Bjork has had huge success in the UK over her career, accumulating twenty Top 40 tracks on the Official Singles Chart, and six Top 10 albums. Bjork has been nominated at the BRIT Awards twelve times, winning five gongs in total. She is the most successful international female act ever at the BRITs, with only U2 and Michael Jackson taking home more international honours.
