Billie Eilish's Happier Than Ever on course for highest new Official Singles Chart entry as Ed Sheeran heads for sixth week at Number 1
Billie Eilish is set to claim the highest new entry on this week’s Official Singles Chart with Happier Than Ever.
Happier Than Ever – the title track from Billie’s newly-released second album – is at Number 12 on today's Official Chart: First Look, and if it stays on course will become Billie Eilish’s 10th Top 20 hit in the UK, and fifth Top 40 this year alone. See Billie Eilish's full Official Chart history here.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habits is heading towards a sixth straight week at Number 1, leading on both sales and streams, while Stay by The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber eyes up a return to its previous peak of Number 2.

Looks like organic hits could finally be returning with clubs opening looking at Talk About, hopefully we'll get some more over the next few weeks and months

Ridiculous that Let Them Know can't break Top 20 with so much stale rubbish in the Top 10. I think we're starting to see the flaws in relying so heavily on streaming in the charts here, songs sticking round way too long.

i really hope happier than ever rises all the way to number 1... it’s such a FANTASTIC song and already one of my favourite songs by billie! furthermore the album of the same name is awesome, i’ve got it on repeat! 🧡

So happy for Billie: her best single in a while i reckon but great news as well for LITTLE MIX climbing back the Top 5 and for MANESKIN, TOM GRENNAN and the talented BECKY HILL!

Hopefully that'll join it in the Top 10 soon. :)

Let's hope it holds up tonight & more importantly, on Friday. :)

'Black Magic' going Top 3 is amazing to see! :D

The title track from Billie's new album is probably in my Top 5 songs of her entire discography! So happy that it's set to be the highest debut of the week. :)

But she's getting fairly big debuts, and then they fall away. Usually the sign of a star who is now considered an Album artist

Yeah, the same thing happened with Taylor lately too, but I think having a massive album is honestly more impressive than having a massive single. :)
