What is the tracklist for Beyoncé's Act II: Cowboy Carter?

With just days to go until Cowboy Carter's release Bey (being the gracious queen she is) has unveiled the tracklist for the album in full. The only twist? We need someone to sit down with us and decode it.

What we think we're looking at is confirmation that Cowboy Carter will seemingly be 27 (!) tracks long, with a feature from country icon Willie Nelson and a cover of Dolly Parton's timeless classic Jolene, as well as a track (Dolly P) named after the country queen herself, although it's unclear if Dolly is featured vocally on these tracks.

What has Beyoncé said about Act II: Cowboy Carter?

So far, Beyoncé has played her cards close to her chest, but in 2021, she spoke about the way Black American cowboys inspired her rodeo-themed IVY PARK clothes collection. She told Harper's Bazaar

"I grew up going to the Houston rodeo every year. It was this amazing diverse and multicultural experience where there was something for every member of the family, including great performances, Houston-style fried Snickers, and fried turkey legs.

"One of my inspirations came from the overlooked history of the American Black cowboy. Many of them were originally called cowhands, who experienced great discrimination and were often forced to work with the worst, most temperamental horses. They took their talents and formed the Soul Circuit. Through time, these Black rodeos showcased incredible performers and helped us reclaim our place in western history and culture. We were inspired by the culture and swag of the Houston rodeo."

Beyoncé's Act II: COWBOY CARTER is released March 29 2024.
