Plus, Future & Metro Boomin, Hozier and Olivia Rodrigo enjoy big Top 10 debuts!
There’s no taking these Beautiful Things away from Benson Boone, as the 21-year-old US sensation claims a second week at Number 1 in the UK today.
Beautiful Things also stakes its claim as the most-streamed song in the country this week, racking up a total of 5.4 million UK streams over the past seven days.
Speaking exclusively to Official Charts last week, Benson Boone said:
“This is my first-ever trophy and my first Number 1 here in the UK! I want to thank you guys so much for the support you’ve shown this song.
“There’s so much more to come, I can’t wait for the album. Thank you guys endlessly. See you on tour soon!”
At Number 2, we see Teddy Swims rise two week-on-week, returning to his previous peak yet again with Lose Control.
This week’s highest new entry goes to Future and Metro Boomin, with Like That debuting at Number 6; becoming Future’s third and Metro Boomin’s second UK Top 10 single. Further down, two more tracks from WE DON’T TRUST YOU impact the wider Top 20; Type S**t (18) and Cinderella (20), both of which feature Travis Scott.
It’s been a long time coming, and Irish singer-songwriter Hozier has secured his first Top 10 single in 10 years, with Too Sweet entering at Number 8 today. He previously reached Number 3 in 2014 with Take Me To Church.
Michael Marcagi continues to make gains with Scared To Start, which rises to Number 9, following its first appearance inside the Top 10 last week.
She’s so obsessed! Olivia Rodrigo’s latest single, taken from GUTS (spilled) arrives at Number 10 today, gifting Olivia her 8th Top 10 single overall. Another new track, so american, also debuts at Number 24.
British-Cypriot producer and artist Artemas (real name Artemas Diamandis) makes his UK Top 40 debut today with i like the way you kiss me (13), marking him as one to watch for the year ahead.
Irish DJ duo NewEra’s breakout single Birds in the Sky jumps an extraordinary 11 places to a brand-new peak (23), while Charli XCX’s Von dutch gets a big boost, bursting back into the Top 40 (27) thanks to the release of a new remix featuring producer AG Cook and TikToker-turned-pop starlet Addison Rae.

The title of the article on the homepage was "You can't take Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things (or his Number 1) from him yet!"... well I wish somebody would take the #1 away from him soon.
Good to see 'Like That' and 'Obsessed' both debuting in the Top 10!
