Britain's queen of dance pop, Becky Hill, has announced the forthcoming release of her second album, Believe Me Now?

Coming off the back of three successive Top 40 singles entries; Side Effects with Lewis Thompson (35), Disconnect with Chase & Status (6) and recent release Never Be Alone with Sonny Fodera (34...so far), Believe Me Now? will arrive on May 31st via Parlophone/Eko Records.

Described as Becky's "most authentic [and] career-defining body of work to date," Believe Me Now? will see her "dig deeper into her life-long passion for underground dance music and club culture." According to a press release, we can expect the album to dip its toes into the worlds of drum'n'bass, anthemic house music and club culture.

In a statement, Becky Hill says; "This album has been a joy to make! it’s come at a point in my life where I’m leaving my turbulent twenties behind me and entering my thirties as a more confident, knowledgeable & self-assured woman and this album really reflects that.

"I wanted this body of work to be deep rooted in dance music but have my story telling song writing flowing throughout, describing tales of loneliness, togetherness, love and betrayal. I can’t wait to share it with the world!"

After a few false starts, Becky's debut album, Only Honest on the Weekend, reached Number 7 on the Official Albums Chart in 2021. But that's only half the story, with the LP proving to have a long shelf-life on the charts; with an impressive 11 weeks in the Top 20 and 34 in the wider Top 40.

Altogether, Becky has achieved one UK chart-topping single with Oliver Helden's Gecko (Overdrive) and a further five Top 10 singles; Wish You Well with Sigala (8), Remember with David Guetta (3), Crazy What Love Can Do with David Guetta and Ella Henderson (5) and her most recent, Disconnect with Chase & Status (6).

Becky Hill's Believe Me Now? drops May 31st via Parlophone/Eko.
