Bebe Rexha's Meant To Be climbs to Number 1 on this week's Official Trending Chart, the Top 20 songs making the biggest impact in the UK this week.

The singer-songwriter's latest track, which features country duo Florida Georgia Line, is set to become her biggest UK single as a lead artist this week, currently up to Number 10 on the latest midweek Official Singles Chart sales flash.

The rising star has previously featured in the Top 10 on three occasions as a guest feature; 2014's Take Me Home with Cash Cash, 2016's In The Name Of Love with Martin Garrix and alongside Digital Farm Animals on Louis Tomlinson's Back To You last year. Look at Bebe Rexha's complete Official UK Chart history here.

Meant To Be, which both acts performed at America's Country Music Awards over the weekend, features on Bebe's newly-announced debut album Expectations, which is out on June 22. The song has been steadily scaling the Top 100 over the last 12 weeks, debuting at Number 97 in February.

Meanwhile, Zayn makes a strong entry on the Official Trending Chart with his latest track Let Me, the second single from his upcoming second album, and Nicki Minaj's double single release of Chun-Li and Barbie Tingz also appear, with the former narrowly proving the more popular of the two.

Another song making a big impact this week is Paloma Faith's Make Your Own Kind Of Music. Her rendition of the Mama Cass' hit, which features on the new Skoda car advert, is on track to enter this week's Official Singles Chart Top 40. Rising London star EO is also seeing a huge uplift of his track German, as is David Guetta and Sia's latest collaboration Flames.

About the Official Trending Chart

The Official Trending Chart was launched in 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.

The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.

The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.

Devised by the Official Charts Company in close consultation with labels, retailers and media, the chart since launch has highlighted emerging hits such as Number 1 singles Sign Of The Times by Harry Styles, New Rules by Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift's Look What You Made Me Do.

The chart is designed to help highlight hit singles in their early stages of their growth, in the light of the shift in release strategies of record labels over the past six months. Under “On Air On Sale”, labels have started to release new music for consumers to buy or stream on the same day as those tracks are released to media (including radio stations and TV).
