BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge Allstars charity single Times Like These enters Top 5 just hours after its release
Some of the biggest names in music teamed up for the cover of the Foo Fighters hit.
BBC Radio 1's Stay Home Live Lounge charity single is off to an incredible start on the Official Singles Chart, landing in the Top 5 debut with just 12 hours' worth of sales.
The song by the Live Lounge Allstars - made up of 23 of the biggest names in music including Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, and AJ Tracey - was unveiled on Radio 1 at lunchtime yesterday. Its official music video, which also featured members of the Foo Fighters, premiered on Thursday night's The Big Night In on BBC One.
Between 12.00pm and midnight, the single clocked up over 43,000 digital downloads.

The song was produced by Grammy award-winner Fraser T. Smith, and co-ordinated by BBC Radio 1 in aid of BBC Children In Need and Comic Relief, to provide essential support to people across the UK who will be significantly impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
