BBC announces Michael Buble at the BBC TV special
The Canadian crooner will perform material from his new album Nobody but Me.
The BBC have announced a world exclusive show centered around Michael Buble.
Michael Buble at the BBC will see the Canadian musician preview material from his new album Nobody but Me and perform classic hits over a 60-minute special BBC One broadcast. Claudia Winkleman will host the one-off event to be filmed at MediaCity in Manchester, interviewing Michael throughout the course of the hour.
The TV spectacular follows 2015's Adele at the BBC that aired prior to the release of her album 25, which is the fastest-selling album of all-time in the UK, shifting 800,307 copies. Will Michael's show result in mega sales too?
Michael commented in a press release: “I loved Adele at the BBC and I'm so excited and honoured to have been invited by the BBC to do my own show for them. I'm sure it will be a blast.”
The show's host Claudia Winkleman couldn't contain her excitement: “When you are asked ‘would you like to interview Michael Bublé and watch him sing?’ you don’t say no. You change your whole life to accommodate this request. I can’t wait."
Michael's ninth studio album Nobody but Me arrives on October 21. All but one of his albums has charted in the UK Top 40, seven of which hit the Top 10. View Michael's complete UK singles and albums chart history, featuring three Number 1 albums.
