Avicii’s Wake Me Up ends Robin Thicke’s six week stand at Number 1 on the Official Streaming Chart.

Wake Me Up by Avicci is the UK’s most listened to track. After topping the Official Singles Chart for a second consecutive week on Sunday, the Swedish DJ and producer climbs four places to claims the Number 1 spot on the Official Streaming Chart

The Official Streaming Chart is compiled by the Official Charts Company on behalf of the British music industry, and has been running since May last year. It is the first chart which ranks audio streams from both ad-funded and subscription streaming services.

Wake Me Up ends Robin Thicke’s impressive six week run at Number 1 with Blurred Lines FT TI and Pharrell Williams. The US R&B star’s cheeky summer anthem today falls one place to Number 2. Daft Punk’s Get Lucky FT Pharrell Williams and Chic’s Nile Rodgers (Number 3) spends its fifteenth week in the Top 5, while Naughty Boy’s La La La FT Sam Smith slides one place to Number 4. This week’s Top 5 is completed by John Newman’s Love Me Again, which has climbed two places to Number 5.

New Entries And High Climbers

There are three new entries on this week’s Official Streaming Chart and four re-entries; One Direction claim this week’s highest new entry with Best Song Ever, which debuts at Number 29.

Calvin HarrisThinking About You FT Ayah Marar is new in at 43, while Kings Of Leon enter at 78 with Supersoaker. Meanwhile, Avril Lavigne’s Here’s To Never Growing Up debuts at 91.

Rudimental head up this week’s re-entries with Right Here FT Foxes from their Number 1 album, Home, back in at 94. Paramore’s Still Into You (99) and Olly MursTroublemaker FT Flo Rida (100) complete this week’s re-entries.

P!nk scores this week’s highest climber with True Love FT Lily Allen, up 39 places from Number 83 to 44. While Breach’s Jack climbs 37 to Number 36, and Selena Gomez is up 35 to Number 23 with Come & Get It.
