It’s one month at Number 1 for Avatar: The Way of Water which floats into its fourth week at the top.

The film holds back tough back competition once again from Marvel sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which holds its place at Number 2, while action-adventure Plane lifts two places to a new peak of Number 3.

Biographical drama Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend crosses the finish line at Number 4 for a second week, while AI horror M3GAN drops two down to Number 5, and Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical stands strong at Number 6.

Two big climbers are up next; Puss In Boots: The Last Wish zooms 18 places back into the Top 10 at Number 7, while A Man Called Otto rebounds 15 spots to Number 8.

Former Number 1 Top Gun: Maverick extends its life in the Top 10 for another week, landing at Number 9, and chart-topping biopic Elvis does the same despite dropping three places to Number 10.

The highest new entry of the week lands just outside the Top 10 at Number 12. Magic Mike’s Last Dance, the third film in the Magic Mike trilogy, sees Channing Tatum’s titular character – who had previously retired from dancing – return to his craft after his business folds during the pandemic, heading to London with Maxandra Mendoza (Salma Hayek) for one month to choreograph a special dance production.
