Ariana Grande has announced details of her brand-new single yes, and?.
Released this Friday (January 12), yes, and? serves as the first track from Ariana's upcoming seventh studio album, scheduled for release later this year.
Fans speculated on the song's title after Ariana was pictured wearing a 'yes, and?' slogan sweater last week; the star having previously teased 2018 single no tears left to cry in the same way.
Taking to social media yesterday (January 7), Ariana confirmed 'yes, and? 1.12 ♡' alongside the single's artwork.

Ariana's most recent album, 2020's Positions, became her fourth Number 1 LP, joining 2019's thank u, next, 2018's sweetener and 2016 record Dangerous Woman in her chart-topping tally.
More recently, Ariana's appeared on collaborations with the likes of Demi Lovato (2021's Met Him Last Night), Kelly Clarkson (2021's Santa, Can't You Hear Me) and The Weeknd (2021's Save Your Tears and 2023 release Die for You).

While the full credits for yes, and? are yet to be confirmed, Ariana's colaborator Ilya Salmanzadeh has shared news of the release to social media.
Swedish producer and songwriter ILYA has also worked with the likes of Tate McRae (guilty conscience), Sam Smith and Madonna (VULGAR) and Charli XCX (In The City).

While Swedish pop producer Max Martin has been in the studio with Ariana, working on her upcoming seventh studio album, it has not yet been confirmed as to whether he was involved in the creation of yes, and?
