Ariana Grande teases new music and lyrics: Listen to her first post-Thank U, Next solo material

She will "brb."

Ariana Grande has teased the release of new music with the release of a new snippet and some supposed lyrics.

This would be the Into You hitmaker's first solo material since the launch of the critically-acclaimed Thank U, Next in 2019.

Taking to Instagram, Ariana dropped a seconds-long clip where you can hear her heavenly ad-libs over a sparkling R&B-infused beat that's reminiscent of her work with producers and frequent collaborators Tommy Brown and Victoria Monet.

Sadly, fans don't have much to go on apart from the tease: "brb."

Some fans have also pinpointed a tweet that could also contain some lyrics for a new project: "Know my love infinite, nothing I won't do."

If anything, the release of new solo material from Ariana could mean she has an even more successful second-half to 2020, which has already been pretty eventful.

She scored a Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart with Lady Gaga this summer as Rain On Me peaked at the top position in both the UK and US Billboard Hot 100.

As it stands, Ariana now has six UK Number 1 singles and three UK Number 1 albums. With the trio of Number 1 LPs, Ariana ranks as one of the female solo acts with the most Number 1 albums to her name.
