Aretha Franklin's funeral will be live streamed and broadcast on TV: The full lineup of performers confirmed
Aretha Franklin's life will be celebrated on Friday, August 31 at a funeral in her hometown Detroit.
While the service itself will be limited to invited guests only, fans will also be able to pay their respects as the ceremony will be streamed live online, as announced in the Detroit Free Press.
The Queen of Soul's funeral, which will take place at Detroit's Greater Grace Temple, includes a star-packed lineup of 19 performers paying tribute. The full list is:

Greater Grace's Bishop Charles H. Ellis III is officiating the service along with the Rev. Robert Smith Jr. of Detroit's New Bethel Baptist Church. The eulogy for the music icon will be delivered by the Rev. Jasper Williams Jr. of Atlanta's Salem Baptist Church.
A separate tribute show has been announced to take place the night before the funeral at Chene Park. The lineup includes The Four Tops, Gladys Knight, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Angie Stone and Raheem DeVaughn.
Aretha died on August 16 following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Her music has since re-entered the Official Charts, with 10 million streams recorded in the UK in the week following her death, according to Official Charts Company data.
