We might've only just put the desk fan back in the cupboard for another year, but here at Official Charts HQ our attention's turned to 2024's Christmas Number 1 race.
We've already seen some big anniversary announcements from the likes of Mariah Carey, East 17 and 2023 champs WHAM! and, now, Apple Music have unveiled their annual Carols Covered and Classical Carols Covered playlists.
This year's collection sees the likes of Rachel Chinouriri, Tones and I, Pheelz, Lizzy McAlpine and loads more put their own spin on some festive favourites; all in immersive Spatial Audio. Glorious.

When will the 2024 Official Christmas Number 1 single be announced?
The 2024 Official Christmas Number 1 will be announced on Friday, December 20. The full Christmas Top 40 will be counted down on BBC Radio 1's The Official Chart with Jack Saunders from 4pm GMT.
The full Top 100 Official Christmas Singles Chart and Official Christmas Albums Chart will be published on OfficialCharts.com from 5.45pm GMT on Friday, December 20.
