Animated musical comedy Sing is chanting its way to the Official Video Chart top spot
It’s possible that lightning will strike twice for Sing, one of 2016’s runaway movie hits as it looks to dominate another sector of the film world, the home entertainment scene.
The animated musical comedy was hugely popular at the box office, and now it could be emulating its theatrical run with success on the Official Video Chart, the UK’s rundown of the best-selling DVD and Blu-ray releases of the past seven days.
As of today’s Chart Update, Sing has shifted 90,000 units, over 40,000 more for the Matthew McConaughey flick than its nearest rival, the Mel Gibson-directed Hacksaw Ridge.
