Andy Williams diagnosed with cancer

Andy Williams has revealed that he’s currently battling bladder cancer.

The American singer, who enjoyed success with massive hits such as ‘Music To Watch Girls By’, 'Moon River’ and ‘ Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’, broke the news to fans at a home town show in Moon River Theater in Branson, Missouri on Saturday night (November 5).

"I have cancer of the bladder, but that is no longer a death sentence," the 83 year old said. "People with cancer are getting through this thing. They're kicking it, and they're winning more and more every year. And I'm going to be one of them."

He then announced that he wold be back at the venue next year to celebrate his 75th year in show business.
