American Pie – The Reunion has gone straight in at Number 1 on the Official Video Chart.
The fourth instalment of the American Pie franchise to feature the original cast, and eighth American Pie video release overall, has knocked The Hunger Games (Number 3 this week) off the top spot.
The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists, the new feature length animation from Wallace And Gromit creators Aardman Animations, debuts at Number 2 in this week’s chart, while Jason Statham’s Safe (Number 4) and James Cameron’s 3D reworking of his 1997 classic Titanic (Number 5) completes this week’s Top 5.
New releases
In addition to American Pie – The Reunion (Number 1), The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists (Number 2), Safe (Number 3) and Titanic (Number 5), there are four other new entries in the Official Video Chart Top 40.
Homeland – The Complete First Season is new in at Number 6, while action thriller The Cold Light Of Day (starring Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver) debuts at Number 7. Patrick Stewart and Glenn Close’s Lionheart enters at Number 16, while Andre Rieu’s Under The Stars - Live In Maastricht is at Number 28.
