Amelia Lily talks about new single You Bring Me Joy

2011 X Factor finalist Amelia Lily released her hotly anticipated new single, You Bring Me Joy, today (Sunday, September 9), so we decided to get her over to Official Charts HQ for a chat.

“It’s still quite hard to believe that I came third in the final of one of the biggest television shows going,” says the 17-year-old from Middleborough. “Now, nearly a year later, I’m releasing my first single!”

Amelia also reflects on how her life has changed since appearing on the hit reality TV show, and discusses her fellow finalists Little Mix’s recent chart-topping performance with Wings. She also talks about where she wants her own single to chart – “I’d be ecstatic if it got to Number 1, but at the same time, I’d be really proud wherever ever it charts because I’ve worked so hard on it!” – and what she’s got in store for her debut album.
