All Time Low set to rule Official Albums Chart with Future Hearts
All Time Low are set to dominate this week’s Official Albums Chart after storming into the lead with their latest album.
The US pop-punk band’s sixth studio album Future Hearts lands straight in at Number 1 on today’s Official Chart Update, 4,500 combined chart sales ahead of their closest competitor, James Bay’s Chaos And The Calm.
If it holds on to its current position, Future Hearts will mark All Time Low's first UK Number 1 album, beating the Number 9 peak of 2012's Don't Panic.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran’s X continues its reign inside the Top 5 at Number 3, last week’s chart-topper The Day Is My Enemy by The Prodigy slips to 4, and Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour completes the Top 5.
New entries
Alt-rock trio Drenge land at Number 10 on today’s Update with their second album Undertow, The Script vault 32 to places to 14 with No Sound Without Silence following their performance on last week’s final of The Voice, and Beach Boys singer Brian Wilson is new at 19 with his 11th album No Pier Pressure.
Singer-songwriter Nadine Shah starts at Number 30 with her second album Fast Food, and Young Fathers are at 32 with White Men Are Black Men Too. The hip-hop trio peaked at Number 35 with their Mercury Prize-winning debut Dead last year.
Finally, East India Youth’s second album Culture Of Volume (37) and Bristol rock band Turbowolf’s Two Hands (39) are on course to enter this week’s Official Albums Chart Top 40 on Sunday.
