All Saints are officially back as the group release their brand new single One Strike today (Feb 23).

Listen to the song, which premiered on BBC Radio 2 this morning below:

One Strike was penned by Shaznay Lewis, who previously revealed the song was about Nicole Appleton’s split from Liam Gallagher.

"When I write, I just think about what’s on my mind,” She said. The lyrics came from somewhere very real. Nic was going through a lot of things at that time. That was at the forefront of my mind because it was the heaviest thing going on."

“We spoke for hours and hours on the phone," Nicole added, while her sister Natalie commented: "The first few times I heard it in my car, I couldn’t stop crying because I could hear so clearly what it was about."

One Strike serves as the lead single from All Saints’ new album Red Flag, which follows on April 8. To date, the band have racked up nine Top 10s on the Official Singles Chart, including five Number 1s. Click here to see where all of the group’s singles and albums have charted in the UK.
