Alexa Goddard teams up with Rihanna hitmaker for new single We Broke The Sky

Alexa Goddard has teamed up with the man behind hits for Rihanna and Ariana Grande for her new single.

The rising star will release We Broke The Sky on August 28. The track was co-written by Kirby Lauryen, who had a hand in Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s FourFiveSeconds, Ariana’s Break Your Heart Right Back and Beyonce’s Die For You.

Official Charts first wrote about rising star Alexa last year, when she released her sugary-pop single So There. The singer is signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label; home to the likes of Rhianna, Big Sean and Rita Ora.

The release of We Broke The Sky will be accompanied by two remixes; by rapper Yungen and production duo Tough Love, who recently scored a Top 20 hit with So Freakin’ Tight. Alexa’s debut album, which includes production from Stargate (Beyoncé, Ne-Yo), DJ Mustard (Big Sean, Tinahse), Ester Dean (Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera) and Chris Brown, is expected to follow later this year.
