Alex Warren’s anything but Ordinary, as he secures a sixth consecutive week at Number 1. 

The longest-reigning chart-topper since Sabrina Carpenter’s 2024 hit Taste, which managed nine consecutive weeks at the summit, Ordinary is also the most-streamed song in the UK this week (6.4 million streams).

A Minecraft Movie mania roars on, as Jack Black’s viral Steve’s Lava Chicken soars to new heights; jumping 10 to Number 11. Last week, the track made Official Chart history as it became the shortest song ever to make the UK charts.

Coming in at a total duration of 34 seconds, Steve’s Lava Chicken surpassed the previous record-holder, Jonny Trunk and Wisbey’s The Ladies’ Bras, by just two seconds. 

Reacting to the news, Jack Black told Official Charts:

"I want to send big love to all the Minecraft fans for getting us up there – it’s insane! Love you!"

No need to be sombr! The rising New York native, real name Shane Boose, nets two new Top 20 peaks this week - undressed is up six (13), as back to friends lifts three (20).

Congratulations go to Addison Rae, who today secures her second UK Top 40 single with the ethereal Headphones On, this week’s highest new entry (24). Previously, the multihyphenate saw similar success with 2024 breakout hit Diet Pepsi (10). Both tracks are lifted from upcoming debut LP Addison, released June 6.

MOLIY and Silent Addy take their summer ready smash Shake It To The Max (FLY) to a new best, up 10 (25), as do Nathan Dawe and Abi Flynn. Dance banger Here In Your Arms jumps four (34).

Very quiet week. Only one new song in the Top 40. Good to see 'Show Me Love' continuing to move up the chart at least. 

Also, this is probably one of the weirdest cover images for an OCC article ever.
