Alex Warren takes Ordinary to second week at Number 1

The US sensation holds strong for another week at the top.

ALEX WARREN ORDINARY NUMBER 1 WEEK 2

Alex Warren’s Ordinary is Number 1 for a second week in the UK.

Last week, the booming chamber-pop ballad by the US rising singer, songwriter and social media sensation swooned to the top of the Official Singles Chart – becoming Alex’s first UK chart-topper.

Now, for a second week, Alex defends his crown. Ordinary also remains the most-streamed track in the country over the last seven days (7 million combined streams).

Ordinary’s success alongside his UK tour this week has a clear knock-on effect for Alex’s material at large; Carry You Home enters the Top 10 for the first time (becoming Alex’s second UK Top 10 hit) and up 10 places week-on-week (10), while Burning Down is up five to another new peak (23).

Benson Boone’s past chart-topper Beautiful Things continues its resurgence, rising one to Number 4 this week. Beautiful Things peaked at Number 1 for two weeks in 2024. Benson’s new single Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else also gets a boost, lifting three to a new peak of Number 24.

Rev that Sports car! Tate McRae is also on the rebound, up two (6) with the stylish, slinky anthem.

Drake moves up seven to Number 12 with NOKIA, while WizTheMC and Bees & Honey’s Show Me Love makes some big moves, scaling 24 places to Number 14, marking both acts’ first Top 20 single.

Acclaimed R&B starlet Ravyn Lenae’s Love Me Not breaks into the Top 20 for the first time (19), as does Lil Tecca’s Dark Thoughts (20).

Leon Thomas, best known for his collaborations as a producer and co-writer for Ariana Grande, makes his debut as a solo artist in his own right with MUTT breaking into the UK Top 40 (26), thanks to a new remix featuring Chris Brown.

Adele’s debut single Hometown Glory continues to reap the rewards of a new viral TikTok trend, up two week-on-week (29).

Ely Oaks’ Running Around jumps four (36), Sonny Fodera & Clementine Douglas’s Tell Me scales up four for a second week inside the Top 40 (39) and finally, Olivia Dean is up nine to spend a third non-consecutive week inside the Top 40 with It Isn’t Perfect (But It Might Be) (40).

Man, this week was boring. Good to see 'Tell Me' and 'It Isn't Perfect But It Might Be' back in the Top 40 at least.
