Aled Jones comes full circle! One Voice - Full Circle tops Official Classical Albums Chart

Aled Jones has come full circle, with his new album debuting at Number 1 on the Official Classical Albums Chart.

One Voice – Full Circle sees Aled ‘duet’ with his younger self on a collection of newly-discovered recordings from a 1983 documentary, on tracks including 1985 Top 5 single Walking in the Air. 

Aled Jones tells Official Charts:  

“It’s been such a joy to duet and relive my past with little Aled. I’d like to thank everyone for buying the album and for putting me and the little one back at the top of the chart.  

“I never take all this for granted – I’ve been so fortunate to make records all my life and it’s always such a brilliant feeling knowing everyone likes the music. I’m full of gratitude and love, and can’t quite believe I have now had more than 20 Number 1 records!”

In a career that now spans 40 years, Aled has claimed one UK Top 10 hit on the Official Singles Chart (which peaked at Number 5 in 1985) and four Top 10 albums on the Official Albums Chart; 1985's All Through The Night (Number 2), 2016's One Voice (Number 3) 2018's In Harmony with Russell Watson (Number 8) and 2019's Back In Harmony, also with Watson (Number 7).
