Those Damn Crows start the week ahead for their first-ever UK Number 1 album with God Shaped Hole.

The alt-rock fivesome – who were formed in Bridgend, South Wales – previously scored a Top 10 record with 2023’s Inhale / Exhale (3), and a Top 20 peak for 2020’s Point Of No Return (14).

Midweek, the Welsh rockers are ahead of US indie icons Bon Iver, founded by singer-songwriter Justin Vernon. Acclaimed fifth studio album SABLE, fABLE (2), their first album in six years, it could become their third UK Top 10 record following 2011’s Bon Iver (4) and 2016’s 22 a Million (2).

Last weekend’s Record Store Day 2025 could send a host of exclusive vinyl drops, some issued on a physical format for the first time ever, shooting up the Official Albums Chart.

Oasis’s greatest hits Time Flies... (1994-2009) eyes a Top 3 re-entry (3), while RSD ambassador Sam Fender’s exclusive new Me And The Dog EP could debut in the Top 5 (5).

Liam Gallagher’s Acoustic Sessions (7) and Gracie Abrams’ The Secret Of Us – Live From Radio City (8) are also predicted to debut inside the Top 10 this Friday.

Further down, David Bowie’s live album Ready, Set, Go! (Live, Riverside Studios ’03) (11) and Charli xcx’s 2017 mixtape Number 1 Angel (13) could make their Official Albums Chart debuts this week following their issuing on vinyl for RSD 2025.

Other RSD drops present in the midweek update include Gorillaz’s Demon Days – Live From The Apollo Theatre (21), beabadoobee’s Live & Acoustic in London (23), blur’s The Magic Whip (24), The Killers & Bruce Springsteen’s Encore At The Garden (30), Kasabian’s Kasabian (34), The Cure’s The Head On The Door (36) and Madness’s Take Cover (39).

Finally, The Smashing Pumpkins’ 1993 second album Siamese Dream gets a new reissue to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The LP is looking to re-enter the chart at Number 37, having peaked at Number 4 in the UK upon its original release.

Why don't you do a top 20 table like you do for the singles charts for albums?
