The Script take the lead for this week’s Number 1 album in the UK with their seventh LP Satellites.

It would be the seventh overall Number 1 record for the Irish band, with five of their studio albums and one greatest hits compilation having previously hit the top spot: The Script (2008), Science & Faith (2010), No Sound Without Silence (2014), Freedom Child (2017), Sunsets & Full Moons (2019) and Tales from The Script: Greatest Hits (2021).

Coming in at Number 2 midweek is US superstar Post Malone with his sixth LP F-1 Trillion, his first out-and-out country record. It’s pacing to become Austin Post’s sixth UK Top 10 album.

South Wales rockers Scarlet Rebels are looking to secure their highest-charting record in the UK yet with Where The Colours Meet (3), which would mark the second UK Top 10 LP for the Llanelli collective.

As her blockbuster Eras Tour arrives in the UK for its second and final leg, monolithic pop goddess Taylor Swift could see no less than seven of her albums present in the Top 40 this week; The Tortured Poets Department (4), Lover (14), 1989 (Taylor’s Version) (16), folklore (17), reputation (18), Midnights (24) and Red (Taylor’s Version) (37) all of which are former UK chart-toppers.

UK rock duo Royal Blood are celebrating a decade since the release of their self-titled debut album this week. As a result, Royal Blood could re-enter the Top 10 at Number 7 thanks to the release of a deluxe 10th anniversary edition. The album peaked at Number 1 on its original release in 2014.

Scottish musician Hamish Hawk approaches his first-ever Top 10 LP with A Firmer Hand (8) while iconic punk outfit The Stranglers could see live record Fifty Years In Black – The Anniversary Tour Live become their landmark 10th Top 10 entry.

And finally, US rock band Falling In Reverse’s fifth studio album Popular Monster could be their first to enter the UK Top 40, currently pacing to debut at Number 15.
