Adele set for second week at Number 1 with Easy On Me
Plus there are new entries from Swedish House Mafia & The Weeknd, ABBA and Digga D on this week's Official Charts First Look.
Adele is set for a second week at Number 1 with Easy On Me, currently tracking to top the Official Singles Chart once more.
Last week, the track broke UK chart records when it debuted at the top of the chart, with the highest first-week streams of any track in chart history. It's Adele's third UK Number 1 single, following Someone Like You (2011) and Hello (2015).
Becky Hill and Topic could jump up one place to Number 10 with My Heart Goes (La Di Da), following weeks of upward trajectory. It would be Becky’s fifth Top 10 single and Topic’s third.
Meanwhile outside the Top 10, Swedish House Mafia and the Weeknd could be in for this week’s highest new entry with their track Moth To A Flame. The slick synth-pop number is currently on course to debut at Number 12.
ABBA could also gain their 29th UK Top 40 single on Friday. Just A Notion, the latest single from their upcoming album Voyage, is heading for a Number 14 debut.
Released on November 5, Voyage has already broken pre-order records for ABBA's label Universal in the UK.
And finally, Digga D’s Red Light Green Light could be another new entry at Number 16. It would be the London rapper’s ninth UK Top 40 single.

Interesting to see Squid Game having some impact in the Top 20! :O

Yeah, I suppose it was bound to at some point🤣
Piran
Yeah, I’m not surprised either, given all the hype surrounding it lately, haha. :)
crunch2k
Which songs in the top 20 are influenced by squid game?
Piran
‘Red Light Green Light’ by Digga D. :)
crunch2k
Oh yeah never noticed it until you mentioned it :)
Piran
No worries, haha. :)

A good week for Swedish acts with ‘Moth To A Flame’ & ‘Just A Notion’ among the new entries! 🇸🇪

Conor
I reckon the latter will fall by friday, havent listened to the former yet, is it good?
Piran
I think so too, but it should still comfortably debut in the Top 40!
‘Moth To A Flame’ definitely isn’t among their best, but I personally like it. :)
Hugh Oxburgh
I agree. It will be interesting to see where 'Voyage' enters the album chart next week, given its heavy advance orders. Hopefully "Just A Notion" can break into the top 10 next week.
Hugh Oxburgh
It won't be as good as its compatriot. Abba are THE best band to come out of Sweden-by a distance.
Piran
Hopefully it can sell enough copies to beat ‘=‘s second week units. :)
Piran
Not much change in the Top 10, but I’m loving that Adele should get a second week at #1. :)
