The Record Club with Jess Iszatt revamped for 2023

The Record Club with Bowers & Wilkins today unveils a brand-new look as the music series supporting new album releases and record stores launches on Spotify.

Episodes will now be available to watch the day after broadcast on The Record Club’s official Spotify page. To celebrate, a Spotify exclusive episode with singer/songwriter Birdy will be available to watch here where she discusses her highly anticipated fifth studio album Portraits, and the cathartic process of writing the record.

Followers can also now watch clips of previous episodes and catch announcements of upcoming guests through The Record Club’s newly launched TikTok page.

Presented by the recently announced host of BBC Introducing on BBC Radio 1, Jess Iszatt, The Record Club is thrilled to continue its partnership with renowned premium audio brand Bowers & Wilkins which will amplify the series even further to their 450K followers and contribute a set of its new award-winning Px7 S2e over-ear noise-cancelling headphones as a competition prize to a fan every episode.

The Record Club with Bowers & Wilkins offers music fans and record collectors exclusive interviews and album insights from some of the biggest artists in the world. The digital collaboration by Record Store Day, National Album Day and Official Charts launched in May 2020 to support record shops through the challenge of lockdown, and has gone from strength to strength with the backing of Bowers & Wilkins to become a fortnightly platform for promoting new releases from a diverse range of artists.

The series has had over one million organic views, while welcoming over 60 artist guests including Blondie, Jessie Ware, Olly Murs, James Bay, Sigrid, James Blunt, Maisie Peters, Rudimental, Phoebe Bridgers, KSI, McFly, Paloma Faith and Wolf Alice to discuss their latest records.

Host Jess Iszatt said, "It's amazing that The Record Club has been going for over three years, and I'm really excited for this next chapter on Spotify! I've had so much fun celebrating albums with fans and artists every episode and it's great that we're able to do it with the support of Bowers & Wilkins."

Giles Pocock, Vice-President of Brand Marketing, Bowers & Wilkins commented, “Helping artists to tell the story behind their music is incredibly important to Bowers & Wilkins and The Record Club has established itself as such a valuable platform for enabling artists to connect with fans in a truly authentic and engaging way.”
