BAY CITY ROLLERS

Bay City Rollers are a Scottish pop rock band whose original line-up consisted of guitarists Eric Faulkner (born October 21, 1953 in Edinburgh) and Stuart Wood (born February 25, 1957 in Edinburgh), singer Les McKeown (born November 12, 1955 in Edinburgh), bassist Alan Longmuir (born in Edinburgh June 20, 1948 – July 2, 2018), and drummer Derek Longmuir (born March 19, 1951 in Edinburgh). Bay City Rollers got together in the early 1970s and found their name by throwing a dart at a map wherein it landed on Bay City near Michigan. Bay City Rollers released their first song Keep On Dancing in 1971. Bay City Rollers scored two UK Official Singles Chart Number 1s in 1975 with Bye Bye Baby and Give A Little Love, as well as two UK Official Albums Chart Number 1s with Rollin’ and Once Upon A Star. What happened to Saturday Night, The Way I feel Tonight, etc., etc. These lists seem like they're made up by greedy bastards trying to sell CDs. The songs and top chart positions change from list to list. Shouldn't they all be the same? The internet is nothing now but another vehicle for greedy cheats to steal a dollar.

Neither of those two songs charted in the UK, so that's why they're not listed here. You can check the wikipedia pages for each song for more details.

BAY CITY ROLLERS, THE VERY FIRST AND ORIGINAL BOYBAND. AND STILL THE GREATEST BOYBAND EVER.

Yes they were good fun - but "very first?" - I think Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers might disagree!
