PRETTY RECKLESS

The Pretty Reckless are an American rock band comprising of lead singer Taylor Momsen (born Taylor Michel Momsen on July 26, 1993), lead guitarist Ben Phillips, bassist Mark Damon and drummer Jamie Perkins, formed in New York. After becoming a TV star appearing on The CW teen drama Gossip Girl, Taylor Momsen formed The Pretty Reckless after meeting Kato Khandwala, enjoying working with him as he was a rock producer and not a pop producer. Khandwala then introduced Momsen to Phillips, and the three began writing songs together. The Pretty Reckless' Joan Jett and Nirvana-inspired debut album Light Me Up was released in 2010 and peaked at Number 6 on the Official Albums Chart. Light Me Up spawned the Top 40 hits Make Me Wanna Die and Miss Nothing. The Pretty Reckless have supported the likes of The Veronicas, Evanescence, Guns N' Roses, Soundgarden, Fall Out Boy and The Offspring on tour. The band's 2021 album Death by Rock and Roll reached Number 1 on the UK's Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
