ROSE

Rosé is a member of K-pop girl group phenomenon BLACKPINK. Born 11 February 1999, South Korean and New Zealand singer Rosé auditioned for South Korean label YG Entertainment before debuting as a member of BLACKPINK a few years later in 2016.

As well as playing a part in BLACKPINK's global success bringing K-pop to the rest of the world, Rosé has since found success striking out on her own. On 25 October 2024 Rose netted her first-ever UK Top 10 single and set a new Official Chart record, becoming the highest charting female K-pop solo artist ever in the UK when her collaboration, APT, with Bruno Mars entered the Official Singles Chart at Number 4, before rising even higher still a week later to Number 2.
