XX

The xx are an indie-electronic trio comprised of Jamie Smith, Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim. Their critically acclaimed debut album, xx, won the coveted 2010 Mercury Music Prize, whilst follow-up LPs Coexist and I See You both debuted at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. All three members of the xx have pursued solo careers in their time away from the band; Jamie xx has issued two solo records, In Colour (2015) and In Waves (2024), while Oliver Sim's Hideous Bastard (2022) and Romy's Mid-Air (2023) have also been released in the ensuing years. As of 2024, the acclaimed trio's fourth album us in the works.
