ATEEZ

ATEEZ are an eight-piece K-pop group hailing from South Korea. Comprising Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho, the band was formed in Seoul by KQ Entertainment, and debuted in October 2018.

The group's first official member was Kim Hongjoong, after his demo mixtape and letter caught the attention of a KQ Entertaiment representative. He went on to become the leader of ATEEZ, and was joined by the other members over the following year.

In October 2018, ATEEZ released their first EP Treasure EP.1: All to Zero, holding their debut showcase on the same day as its release.

In June 2024 the South Korean group scored their third UK Official Albums Chart Top 10 with tenth EP GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1 when it landed at Number 4 in its opening week. In doing so, Official Charts confirmed that ATEEZ made UK chart history as the first K-pop act ever to secure three UK Top 10 albums in one year. ATEEZ had previously enjoyed success with 2023’s THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW (10) and THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL (2).  Fellow K-pop superstars BTS managed to log two UK Top 10 LPs in one year in 2020: MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA and MAP OF THE SOUL : 7.
