LIAM PAYNE

Liam Payne (August 29 1993 - October 16 2024) rose to fame as a member of British group One Direction, alongside Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik.

With the group, Liam earned four Official UK Number 1 singles (What Makes You Beautiful, Little Things, One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks) and Drag Me Down) and four chart-topping albums (Take Me Home, Midnight Memories, FOUR and Made in the A.M.).

As a soloist, Liam secured six UK Top 40 singles; the highest-charting being 2017 Quavo collaboration Strip That Down, which peaked at Number 3. His solo record, 2019's LP1, peaked at Number 17.

Liam tragically died on October 16 2024, aged just 31.
