The "Space" band who did Magic Fly are a French one-hit-wonder group, the 90s group are a Liverpudlian band who have had more success.

Vastly different acts. One was Daft Punk's grandfathers and the other were juxtaposted in the Britpop era...although Space (UK) wouldn't ever define themselves as Britpop quite rightly. Both acts produced great tune(s).

Think this needs splitting into two bands - the Space of the 70s is not the band of the 90s who still exist today. And it's a huge shame their later work hasn't charted, because they're better than ever!
