DJ Casper - real name Willie Perry Jr - was a DJ, songwriter and producer who hailed from Chicago. Best known for the Cha Cha Slide, the energetic dance track with an easy to learn routine, which reached Number 1 in the UK in 2004, four years after its initial release. DJ Casper died in August 2023, aged 58.
