see comment below. Is it any wonder your system doesn't work either. The kids have taken over the asylum and they are rubbish at their jobs. :) Oh I see what they've done. They've employed a data inputter who can't input data. In the middle of Get Back's six week run at number one, they have credited four weeks to "Preston". If you look up "Preston" in the artist list you'll find he has four weeks on the chart, all at number one. No wonder the Beatles' total weeks at number one figure doesn't match Guinness'. Or that McCartney is never credited with his Wings' number one Venus and Mars. Or that the Stones' and Elvis' re-issues are credited as new No 1's but Sgt Pepper isn't. Charts for dummies. Ha ha Broken Britain.

Hi Chris, I think you might be confusing the "Official Chart" people with professionals doing a good job.  Given the size of the error, I wondered if there was a conspiracy, but then I realised it was simply another example of poor performance in "Broken Britain".  If you think the error on Get Back is bad, go and see if you can find a little band called "Beatles" in the new UK chart listing at all. I couldn't.  The last one alphabetically before "Beatles and Billy Preston" is "Beatings".  So there you have it, no conspiracy, just good old fashioned ignorance and stupidity. Well done "UK Official charts".  They got caught out trying to hide Kate Bush's popularity too!  How embarrassing for the little dears?

Why do you insist on crediting get back by The Beatles (with Billy Preston) with just two weeks at no 1 on UK singles chart in 1969.everybody knows it was 6 weeks.
Every copy of the guiness book of British hit singles i possess, rightly credits it as 6 weeks at #1.
Look onto it guys - I find this blatant discrepancy so annoying and infuriating.
Ps: please don't take my post down, like my last one - just because you don't agree !
