The Beatles - 1967-1970 (also commonly known as The Blue Album) is a compilation album of The Beatle's most popular tracks from the latter part of The Beatles' career, up to their break-up in 1970. 

As such, it goes chronologically from Strawberry Fields Forever to The Long And Winding Road.

Production of the Red and Blue albums was instigated initially by the Beatles's record label Apple/Capitol in response to a bootleg greatest hits collection, Alpha Omega, which had been sold on television in 1972. 

The Blue Album was the more commercially successful of the two, peaking at Number 2 on the UK's Official Albums Chart.
