DOPAMINE is the debut solo studio album from Fifth Harmony member Normani.

After clearing her social media accounts, Normani announced news of the LP on February 21 2024, telling Twitter/X followers: "cryingg typing this rn. DOPAMINE THE ALBUM".

While DOPAMINE's release date and tracklisting is yet to be confirmed, Normani has shared the official album artwork to social media, which sees her riding a black rocket.

It's not yet known whether Normani's previous solo singles Motivation (2019), Wild Side ft. Cardi B (2021) and Fair (2022) will be included on the record.

Addressing the delay of DOPAMINE in 2022, Normani told Bustle: "I understand that [waiting] might not be the easiest in regards to supporting me, but I think that people really don’t understand, especially coming out of a girl group, what most may have thought was the perfect time for me to release - during Motivation - was not it at all, because I would’ve put out a body of the work that I wasn’t confident in."

She continued: "I had a lot of growing to do. I had a lot of artist development, which I feel like people don’t take seriously.

"They throw artists on stage completely unprepared. And for me, that mentality was very important. Now, I’ve also been very critical on myself. So I think it’s been a combination of things, but it’s definitely going to be worth the wait."
